Performance Coaching
The purpose of performance coaching is to help the individual improve their performance beyond what they appear to be able to achieve on their own, or with other training and development interventions.
Where training gives the person ideas on how to develop, performance coaching gives them individual ideas, over a period of time, to help overcome development hurdles.
Performance coaching is appropriate for those individuals who believe they can achieve more but who need help in realising their potential.
Performance coaching is usually on a 1:1 basis but coaching can be carried out with teams.
