Assertiveness
Assertiveness can be developed though an effective communication skills programme. The differences between assertive and aggressive behaviours often need clarifying and illustrated with live examples.
The ITD approach to effective communication skills is to base any programme on examples brought by participants. In this way the workshop is highly relevant and far more useful.
The importance of basic behavioural psychology is explored to identify the causes of aggressive behaviour. The latest thinking on how to implement new behaviours to develop assertiveness is also explored and applied to participants’ live situations.
We have many examples of how assertiveness has been developed through an ITD effective communication skills programme.
