Influencing Skills
Influencing skills are vital when we want to get others see a different view without them feeling pushed into it. The ability to influence is often key in a managerial or supervisory role. Managers and team leaders need to use their influencing skills with their team, other departments as well as fee earners.
The itd approach is to look at a range of processes and skills that can underpin influencing and to develop skills required to influence.
The processes are simple step by step ideas which are applied to actual participants scenarios in a workshop. The influencing skills are developed though role play and discussion as to how they work.
